Orange and Blue Evolution

FC Cincinnati has transformed immensely in its short existence and the club has accomplished much. The Orange & Blue has captured the hearts of Cincinnati, and it has been amazing watching this club grow to new heights. The anticipation for the 2018 season is building every day, and with the first practices in the books, the anticipation is mounting.

There is a different feel to this season. We wanted to show you how the roster has morphed from 2016 to now. Many players have come in, several have stayed, but we feel this could be the squad to get FCC some hardware. See the following graphics showing some of the transformations through the first 3 years of the roster.

2018 PRESEASON SQUAD

With a full offseason at the helm, Head Coach Alan Koch circled the globe to bring in some new talent to compete for the Orange and Blue.

  • Tommy Heinemann, Emery Welshman, Russell Cicerone and Daniel Haber will join Danni König in the FWD attacking role.
  • The club signed Nazmi Albadawi, Lance Laing, Will Seymore, Tyler Gibson and Emmanuel Ledesma to join the Midfield corp with inaugurals Jimmy Mclaughlin, Corben Bone, and Kenney Walker.
  • The back line got some reinforcements in Dekel Keinan, Paddy Barrett, and Forrest Lasso.
  • Fan favorite Mitch Hildebrandt headed south to Atlanta United, and FCC brought in replacements in Evan Newton, Spencer Richey, and Mark Village.
