2017 Fan-Voted FC Cincinnati Player of the Year: Harrison Delbridge

For the second consecutive season, Cincinnati Soccer Talk listeners and readers voted Harrison Delbridge their Player of the Year! The Australian center back narrowly beat out goalkeeper Mitch Hildebrandt by 15 votes out of over 700 total votes! The total amount of votes in 2017 grew by over 260% of the 2016 round of voting.   • First in the team in interceptions (USL) – 121
  • Second in the team in tackles and tackles won (USL) – 57/39
  • First in aerial duels and duels won (USL) – 148/105 – 71%
  • Scored 3 goals in USL play – 4th place on team
  • Scored a penalty kick vs. Chicago Fire
  • Led FC Cincinnati in passes in 2017 – 1,386

One of Delbridge’s most impressive moments in 2017 came in an offensive play. On Saturday, September 16th vs. NYRB2, Delbridge launched a golazo into the top right corner is a 4-2 victory for FC Cincinnati. Check out the goal below:
