Welcome to the first edition of This Week in FC Cincinnati. Our goal is to provide a quick summary for supporters to stay in the know with what’s happening with their club. We will provide information about weekly player transactions, team and supporters group events, upcoming games, and other relevant team news for the week.

FC Cincinnati Takes Home Preseason Hardware– With a final score of 4-0 over HB Koge of Denmark, FC Cincinnati took home its first trophy with a 1st Place finish in the IMG Suncoast Classic preseason tournament in Bradenton, FL. The team finished the tournament with 2 Wins (NYCFC, HB Koge) and 1 Tie (KR Reykjavik).

Sean Okoli & Michael Millay Join Up With FCC– On Wednesday February 24th, the team signed veteran MLS Striker Sean Okoli along with former University of Cincinnati Player Michael Millay. Okoli recently spent time with the New England Revolution while Millay played Division 1 soccer with Coastal Carolina after an injury ended his career at UC. He joins Omar Mohamed as the 2nd player from FCC’s open tryout in November 2015.

iHeartMedia and Espn 1530 Announce Radio Partnership with FC Cincy– This week iHeartMedia and Espn 1530 announced a deal that they will cover all home FC Cincinnati matches along with a bi-weekly “Coach John Harkes Show” for the season. The show is scheduled to air biweekly on Tuesdays from 6-7:00 p.m. on ESPN 1530 and will kick off March 22nd at the Moerlein Lager House.

Join Die Innenstadt in the Bockfest Parade– Join the FC Cincinnati Supporters Group Die Innenstadt this Saturday as they march in the Bockfest Parade. The group will be meeting outside of Arnold’s Bar and Grill on 8th Street between 5 pm and 5:50 pm. The parade will start promptly at 6 pm.
