The offseason moves continue to add up for FC Cincinnati. As they draw closer to preseason camp, GM Jeff Berding and Head Coach John Harkes continue to add depth to the FCC roster. The club announced today that forward Daryl Fordyce and defender Matt Bahner have joined the team.
Daryl Fordyce
Fordyce, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, spent the past 4 seasons with FC Edmonton becoming the top scorer in the club’s history. He had 7 goals last season for the Canadian side in 30 games played. Fordyce began his soccer career when he joined the Rangers FC (Scottish Premier League) academy at the age of 10. He moved from Rangers to Portsmouth at the age of 16 and also spent time with then League One side AFC Bournemouth. He’s also had international football experience as well playing with Northern Ireland’s U-16 and U-23 squads.

Bahner has spent the past two years with the Jacksonville Armada of the NASL. He played in 46 matches and logged over 3700 minutes for them. He’s shown the ability to put the ball in the back of the net as well with 3 goals and 2 assists from defense. We feel he can come in and compete to start for our team immediately. He is an experienced, versatile defender who can be utilized in any position across our back four.”
Two of #NASL's most consistent players off to #FCCincy. Smart pickup by the second-year club. https://t.co/eAsk4GcRhf
