Mark your calendars! Cincinnati Soccer Talk is back to being LIVE this week with special guest Mitch Hildebrandt! That’s right, our weekly podcast is officially live with video and a call in phone number where YOU can partake in the FC Cincinnati conversation.
About our guest: Mitch Hildebrandt was recently named to the USL First Team and was awarded the USL Goalkeeper of the Year! Mitch has been one of the faces of the franchise in FC Cincinnati’s inaugural season, with the fan base getting creative with their “Mitch Says No” chant! Hildebrandt was a stalwart for the Blurange, finishing first in the USL in minutes played with 2,608 and games played with 30. He recorded 72 saves and held a 0.86 goals-against average while yielding 25 goals.
The former Minnesota United keeper came into the season with less than 20 pro starts, but quickly locked down his role in the XI. Hildebrandt has been a great representative of the city and we are looking forward to discussing his future with the club.
Make sure to call in tonight at 513-399-KICK (5425) or tweet your questions to @CincySoccerTalk.
Also joining the guys at approx. 8:40 p.m. is Chad Smith @Playfor90 from The Blue Testament on SB Nation. Chad wrote a piece on MLS expansion and how FC Cincinnati could be working their way into the league sooner than most people thought. Check out his story HERE.
