About our guest:
Sid van Druenen, is the Head Coach of the Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC who play in the USL PDL, which is the highest level of Amateur Soccer in the US.
A UEFA B licensed coach, van Druenen has previous USL PRO and PDL managerial experience as the Head Coach and Technical Director of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC in Dayton, Ohio.
As a player van Druenen represented clubs in Portugal (CD Boliqueime) and the Netherlands (EVV Eindhoven) before starting his coaching career. In the past 12 years van Druenen coached in Portugal with CD Boliqueime, CDR Quarteirense, Escola do Benfica de Loulé and in the USA with Soccer Centers in New Jersey and the Dayton Dutch Lions FC.
Van Druenen joined the Cincinnati Dutch Lions in January 2017 and has been assembling a talented roster with the goal of winning the USL PDL & qualifying for the 2018 US Soccer Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC will start their 2017 season at their home stadium, the Northern Kentucky University soccer stadium, Sunday, May 21st against the West Virginia Chaos. Kick-off is set for 6:00pm.
