Sunday – FC Cincinnati Supporters Chant Workshop

Where: The Eddy – 656 East McMillian, Cincinnati 45206
When: Sunday, January 22nd 11 a.m.
Cost: Free, Bring your own food and drinks

Have you wanted to get your chant ideas out there? Now’s your chance! The Knight’s of the Bailey are looking for new chant ideas and are hosting a “chant workshop” at The Eddy on Sunday from 11am to 5pm (or whenever we wrap up). They are planning on having quite a few chants to work through so come prepared to see how the fudge is made!

While they may have time to generate some chants or make tweaks to the ones we have and receive, the main goal of this session is to work through chants received and coordinate some strong ones to push out through the various groups in The Bailey. In the interest of time, please send your ideas ahead of time to theknightsofthebailey@gmail.com. Your idea will need a title, lyrics, and the “tune of”.

Once received the Knight’s be compiling everything and will get them ready to go. The leaders will run through each chant a few times so people get the idea behind it and put them to a vote. The chants with the highest average scores will be pushed for the start of the season so we hopefully have something strong to start with – created with input from a diverse group of people.

Please note that profanity is just fine, but overly vulgar, racist, homophobic, and otherwise hateful chants will not be considered. Chants that come up spur of the moment or even written on a napkin will still find their way into The Bailey, but we thought this would be a great opportunity to get your ideas out there and meet other fans you may not have had an opportunity to otherwise!
