Well done FC Cincinnati faithful! On a rain soaked Saturday night at Nippert Stadium you still managed to pack the house with over 11,000 fans! Serious kudos are in order. Right now FC Cincinnati is averaging 15,491 per game which is tops in the USL. Let’s hope that average continues to rise through the summer. As for the game itself, we discuss that and more on this week’s pod.

You know what they say about tie games? I don’t need to repeat that here. It was two points dropped though on Saturday night as FC Cincinnati finished the match 1-1 with Wilmington. Mitch Hildebrandt’s PK save was amazing, unfortunately the ensuing corner resulted in a goal for the Hammerheads. But former Wilmington star Paul Nicholson leveled the match early in the 2nd half.

We were joined on the show this week by Pat Brennan from The Cincinnati Enquirer. Pat’s been fortunate to cover the FC Cincinnati beat for our local newspaper. He fills us in on the early season storylines and also a bit of background on how he became a soccer journalist.

This week features two matches, one on Wednesday night against Orlando City B and Saturday night against the Harrisburg City Islanders, both of which are on the road. We break it down for you and offer up our predictions.
