FC Cincinnati leads US in Soccer Attendance on Weekend

Attendance

That is correct. You read the headline right. FC Cincinnati led the entire United States in soccer attendance on the weekend. The Telegraph (UK) writer Bob Williams compiled all attendance figures for 7 of the 8 MLS games played in the USA this weekend. FC Cincinnati came out on top.

Portland has yet to play at the time of this article, but their capacity is listed at 21,144 with a maximum of 22,000 allowing FCC to capture this honor.

Two MLS teams based in Canada had home games this weekend with Montreal at 20,801 and Toronto FC unannounced. Toronto had over 30,000 on hand in their inaugural game in the renovated BMO Field last weekend. Their crowd was not as large as the previous week and may top FCC, but we are only counting games played in the US at the time of writing.
